I am not a walking Avon billboard as of yet, but rest assure after my c12 order comes, I probably will be. I do not plan on making a full-time career out of this or anything, as I have other goals. But I do enjoy selling Avon part-time for the love and fun of it. I love make-up and skincare, and I enjoy selling it to the women who want and continue to buy from me. So, if wearing Avon products will help increase sales, then I'm in!
As an Avon Rep I get the opportunity to invest in my own personal development at a very low cost. And I get discounts and benefits on products which in turn is a good way to save some money.
As a walking Avon billboard I plan to use an Avon skincare regimen, wear Avon lip gloss and make sure I have on at least one piece of Avon jewelery or clothing when I go out. And of course… I will always, always, always keep brochures and mag-a-logs with me as a way to start an Avon conversation and to find new Customers.

How do you perk up your complexion?
We all have good days and bad days and the same thing holds true for our skin. Whenever I notice my skin looking a little tired and dull, I reach for my mark Shine Fighter Oil-Control Mask. I like the fact that my face tightens up while it's sitting on my face for about 15 to 45 minutes. The tight feeling tells me that it is working, and after I wash it off, my face feels soft, smooth, and the shine is gone. I use this 1 to 3 times a week. I definitely recommend this product.
Once I whip my skin back into shape, I'd like to maintain the healthy glow and even tone. So, I plan to purchase the Luminosity Pro Brightening Serum.

If you have oily skin, you know it can be tough to prevent mid-day shine and keep grease at bay. This primer makes skin look smooth and matte. It helps stop shine during some of the most humid days and it lasts more than five hours!

Dudu-Osun Black Soap
Okay, so I have been doing my research on this Dudu-Osun Black Soap since I started using it about 2 or 3 days ago. Apparently users should start seeing the effects of the soap right away and if not then after a few weeks. The skin will start to feel smoother and for those with oily skin (like myself) your skin will become less oily and more evened out... Claims have been made that it does help with getting rid of discoloration in two ways (I am still waiting to see if this statement holds any sort of truth to it).
First it stops lesions from forming. The oil control and cleansing properties helps to fade overall spots, helping decrease the formation of new lesions as well as help the old ones to go away.
Second, it helps to gently exfoliate the skin when you wash with it, which speeds up the cell turnover and helps dark spots fade.
I wash my face with it as I would with any facial cleanser. It lathers just like a regular soap. Sometimes I leave it on my skin for a minute or two to help it really penetrate, but lately I have been rubbing a piece of the bar gently between my hands then using the foam from the bar to apply to my face in a gentle circular motion. Then I rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, apply my toner, then apply my AM or PM moisturizer. That's it!
I store my black soap in a soap dish. Oh, and apparently you can also use the soap as a shampoo. I haven't tried it as a shampoo as of yet, but I'm tempted too! Anyway, with all the great reviews, I am definitely looking forward to seeing the results as the days go by.

Clear Skin Challenge
I wash, tone, and moisturize my face every single day, twice a day (AM & PM).
Step 1.
Cleanse: Dudu-Osun Black Soap. I had read so much good reviews about this soap, and a friend also suggested I try it, so I decided to stop by the local beauty supply shop to pick one up. Thankfully, I was able to grab the last one on the shelf. I just starting using the soap 1 or 2 days ago, so we'll see how it goes. I really hope this works for me, as I am in a quest to find something that will clear up these darn Acne scars. I really want my clear skin back (sigh).
In addition, I will mask once or twice a week with Mark. Shine Fighter Oil-Control Mask

Step 3.
AM Moisturizer: Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Moisturizer

My Beauty Philosophy
What is your beauty philosophy?
Natural is beautiful. Makeup should be used to highlight your own beauty.
What is harder in make-up: to emphasize or to conceal?
It’s always harder to cover something up – in fact, I recommend that women put minimal effort into concealing imperfections and instead play up whatever feature they find most beautiful.
What is your favorite make-up item?
Mascara. This really helps lashes look fuller and the eyes look more alive and awake.
A full face of makeup looks too obvious. How can I make it look more natural?
Makeup tends to look heavy when it is not properly blended. When wearing a full face of makeup, blending is the key to a soft, natural look because it helps you avoid hard lines.
Less make-up is more, so keep it simple!
Why wear it if the world knows it's not actually yours? You don't want to wear make-up if people can actually see that it is plastered all over your face, especially if it makes you look like a different person. You want to make sure that your make-up looks as sheer as possible and as natural as possible. Keep your foundation as light as possible, if you don't need it, then don't wear it, or don't wear heavy foundation.

Product Reviews: Clearskin Professional
Okay so, I received my Clearskin Professional Acne Treatment System Kit last night. I am so excited to see the results after 3 days (lets see if this product really lives up to its claim). I used the Deep Pore Cleansing Scrub, and the Clarifying Toner Pads on my face last night before I went to bed, and I can honestly say that I like it. I like the smell of the product. I like the way the product feels on my face, the tingling sensation from the Deep Pore Cleansing Scrub makes me feel as though the product really works, and I like that the grains in the cleanser are extremely fine, and a pea size goes a long way, so the product may last a lot longer than I expect. This is my official journey to clearer looking skin... starting now!

Inner beauty for outer shine!
I look at beauty from a holistic perspective. I believe that in order to look beautiful on the outside you need to be taking care of the inside. Although I do not wear make-up on a daily basis, that doesn't necessarily mean that I don't like make-up because I do! And I enjoy selling Mark products too! But, I also understand that it's not always about the make-up.
What good is making up your outer self (physical appearance), if your inner self (mind, body and spirit) needs repair? You can use make-up, but it's one thing to use it to enhance your natural beauty, it's another to us it as cover up. Make-up, should not be used as a mask to cover up, but rather as a tool to bring out the "art of being you" - the beautiful you! For some women, make-up is a form of self-expression, (just like personal style)! For others, it is a form of art (the face like a blank canvass, the product like paint). While most women, enjoy playing and experimenting with new looks and colours, others may use it as a means to cover up imperfections like acne blemishes, scares, or dark circles under the eyes, etc. At the end of the day, the foundation for flawless looking make-up, begins with flawless skin. This is why a good daily skin-care regimen is crucial to aid a flawless make-up application process...
